Early in 2020 Decatur Babies’ Ice Tre popped by the studio to talk about and listen to some music. I played him a handful of beats and he wanted to take a few back to his brother JC The Great One, the other half of Decatur Babies.

A short period of time goes by, the world starts to enter into the pandemic, and Decatur Babies released this song featuring a singer they met at an open mic named Bentlee.

It was a timely song and so far has turned out to be timeless. While it contextually talks about the early parts of that period, the overall message resonates with me daily.
